Romanowski

Dr. Gerd Romanowski is Executive Director of the Chemical Industry Association (VCI) and responsible for Science, Technical and Environmental Affairs. He holds this position since 2001.

He studied Chemistry and obtained a PhD in Natural Sciences from the University of Bremen in 1985.

Dr. Romanowski started his career in 1986 at Philips Research Lab in Aachen. He joined VCI in 1991 as a research and science policy manager becoming the Director of the Science and Research Department in 1998. Since then he is also the Managing Director of the Chemical Industry Fund.
